What do you enjoy most about helping planners design meetings and retreats at Ocean Edge?
Taking initial ideas and months of planning and watching them unfold into a real, enjoyable event is incredibly rewarding. Seeing the joy and connection it brings to both group planners and their attendees is what makes this work so fulfilling.
Ocean Edge offers over 21,000 square feet of meeting space. What types of programs thrive most at this Cape Cod resort?
Ocean Edge offers versatile meeting and event spaces designed to support gatherings of every kind. Corporate meetings such as board meetings, trainings, and brainstorming sessions thrive here, as do educational seminars and workshops. We also host press conferences, trade shows, charity galas, award dinners, holiday parties, and product launches. Each space is fully customizable, with flexible seating, advanced AV capabilities, and tailored catering to support collaboration, presentation, and celebration.
How do you approach partnering with a corporate meeting planner from inquiry through execution?
My approach is a multi-stage process designed to fully understand each group’s goals and objectives. From there, I help plan and execute a customized event by selecting the right meeting spaces, curating menus, defining audiovisual needs, and coordinating team-building activities and leisure experiences that enhance the overall attendee experience.
You receive consistently strong feedback from planners. What do you think resonates most with them?
Corporate meeting planning can be challenging, especially for planners organizing complex or first-time programs. I believe guiding planners through every step of the process builds trust and fosters strong, genuine, and lasting relationships.
What experiential activities do you recommend for modern corporate meetings and retreats?
Ocean Edge offers experiential learning opportunities for every type of corporate retreat. We support workshops, wellness classes, outdoor adventures, problem-solving challenges, and hands-on team-building.
One of my favorite activities is the boat-building challenge, where teams construct a boat using cardboard and limited materials. The winning team is the one whose boat makes it to the end of the pool—it’s a great mix of teamwork, creativity, and fun.
For a more relaxing and rejuvenating activity, we're able to offer our clients private floating sound baths in our indoor pool, where guests float on an air mattress in our dimly-lit Bayside Indoor Pool and are lulled into a restful state through the harmonious ringing of sound bowls. It's a real treat for the attendees, who are sure to enjoy a restful night's sleep afterwards. Clients love including this either before or after a major learning or workshopping day with the team.

Can you share a memorable success story from a corporate meeting you’ve planned?
One memorable event involved a financial services client with multiple high-profile guests arriving and departing throughout the day, alongside several meetings happening simultaneously across different spaces. By managing guest flow, coordinating rooms, and communicating closely with onsite teams, the event ran smoothly, stayed on schedule, and received very positive feedback for its organization and execution.
What advice would you give planners booking corporate meetings for 2025–2026?
Start with clearly defined goals and prioritize authentic local experiences. Booking key elements early—such as venues and flights—is essential to securing favorable rates and managing logistics efficiently, especially as corporate meetings continue to evolve.

I love being part of a highly supportive and knowledgeable team that is committed to ensuring every corporate meeting is booked, detailed, and executed flawlessly.
When you’re not planning meetings, how do you enjoy spending time on Cape Cod?
I love taking long walks with my daughter, cooking warm meals for family and friends, and cheering loudly at my sons’ soccer games.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
Many people are surprised to learn that I worked in Food & Beverage for 15 years, which has had a huge influence on how I approach service and guest experience.
